Happy New Year 2010

With the year 2009 ends, time speed is never as before, it is so quick that one miss track of days and sometimes of months. This is true in particular for those who carry very busy agenda.

In our Muslim and Arab community, we do not celebrate the occasion of the New Year but some Muslims and Arabs do though. For me, this year is not like before, when we used to have some people remind us to do something special for the New Year, they eventually take the initiative to invite us to a party in a hotel or in any colleague's household.

In fact it is okay to celebrate or give a party but some people do not feel concerned with time and years because their agenda are very small if they have any, usually time such as months and years are tightly linked to plans of action, plans, planning, people's birthdays (personal side) … etc

People who stop on the New Year should have had achieved an important success in their lives, dates could be a deadline for their achievement, countdown to something good coming. Governments measure their success and performance by time elapsed, they set dates to get projects done.

However, feeling of time is measured by how much we achieve, work out, achievement and production make us happy but not numbers (years).
